We understand that there are many other sponsorship programs similar to ours, but we are different from most.

Most other organizations that offer child sponsorship opportunities, have developed centers that children are able to come to daily and receive medical care and education.  While these have proven to be effective, our children do not have the luxury of returning to a home that is their own.  Our children live at our facility, because for one reason or  another, their families were unable to care for them.  We are committed to establishing a family atmosphere for each child.  Because they live on our campus, we are 100% financially responsible for ALL their needs.  We are praying that each child is able to get 6 people to sponsor them at $50 each.

This is much more than providing financially for a child.  When a child has 6 sponsors, they know that there are people a world away praying for them and loving them.
With your sponsorship, you will be providing for all their food, clothing, education, physical, mental, and spiritual development.  We encourage all our sponsors to faithfully pray for your sponsored child and write regularly.  Our sponsorship software allows for the opportunity to communicate with your sponsored child, through a moderated communication portal. We also provide opportunities for you to visit Haiti and meet your child.

JBA Haiti is a mission project of the Jacksonville Baptist Association (JBA) in Jacksonville, Florida. The Cabaret Baptist Children’s Home is the Orphanage located in Haiti, where the children reside. JBA Haiti and the Cabaret Baptist Children’s Home has grown to include a school, church and orphanage.
