Thank you for your interest in giving to the Emmanuel Haiti Endowment Fund. Early in the days of this ministry, Marcus and Billie Greene served faithfully as the on-site directors for JBA Haiti until Marcus was diagnosed with cancer. Although unable to return to Haiti, Marcus and Billie continued to help the people of Haiti. Marcus started Emmanuel Baptist Church in the Arlington area of Jacksonville. After months of working to establish the church, God led the congregation to join another existing congregation. The funds Emmanuel Baptist Church had collected were given to the Jacksonville Baptist Association for the establishment of the Emmanuel Haiti Endowment Fund through the Florida Baptist Foundation. This endowment allows the interest from the funds to be distributed annually for the JBA Haiti project. In this way, JBA Haiti will have funds available annually and your invested funds will keep giving year after year.
Your tax deductible gift will truly change the life of a child and provide a Haitian family with new hope. JBA Haiti currently consists of the Cabaret Baptist Children’s Home, Cabaret Baptist Academy, and the Cabaret Baptist Church, as well as ongoing skill training and community feeding programs.
Your gift may be in the form of cash, securities, stocks or a deferred gift—one made through a will, trust or life-income gift such as a gift annuity, charitable remainder trust.
