Afternoon E-mail from Dorothy at Faith, Hope, & Love Infant Rescue in PAP…
Emily’s swelling is going down in her head. Her CT scan is perfectly normal. The doctor says malnutrition can cause the fontanel to bulge. That’s the first time I’ve ever heard that but I can’t argue that she doesn’t appear to be sick at all. Nancy, Tasha and I are puzzled but much relieved.
Take...

I received this e-mail from Dorothy concerning little Emily Marie this morning. Please join me in prayer for her.
Hi guys
Little Emily has been doing great. She has gained weight and her scalp is almost completely healed. She smiles and laughs and talks all the time. She has been staying upstairs all the time so we could watch her. Also, Tasha adores her. Yesterday we finally sent her down to...

Many prayers have gone up in recent days on behalf of many little ones. Here is the latest on some of them:
Erin Kirby-
was in church last Sunday with her parents- truly a miracle! Team members Kristen & Jared learned upon return to US that their 2 year old daughter was hospitalized and doctors believed she had either lymphoma or leukemia. Testing ruled out lymphoma and the type of leukemia was...

We returned to the US from Haiti over the weekend trying to all at once catch our breath, hit the ground running & adjust to the huge difference in weather! It’s a lot to juggle, but juggling is something we do a lot of in Haiti … I didn’t say we always do it well- it’s just a way of life.
I don’t know if these pictures will do it justice, but here is some heavy duty...

The First Baptist Live Oak Haiti Mission Team’s last full day at the JBA Orphanage in Bercy was indeed a full day, full of the Holy Spirit’s guidance, full of activity, full of Joy.
Joy reached into Heaven as numerous new souls were won for Christ in evangelistic canvassing, about 100 patients received life-sustaining treatment in the final day of medical clinics, and the two starving...

A Day of Worship and Fun With the Children
The First Baptist Live Oak team opened Sunday at the Bercy Baptist church by sharing the e-cube with the Haitian Sunday School congregation. Jared was given the honors of unfolding the cube step-by-step to illustrate in simple but eloquent terms how Christ’s sacrifice has saved us and given us fellowship with him in eternal life. Rob commented that Jared...

Another great day of ministering to the sick and the lame of the Bercy, Haiti area found more than 190 people filing through the medical clinic. Pharmacy personnel handed out Creole tracts with the medicines and Pastor Charlie gave the message of God’s saving grace to the waiting crowd. The turnout was so strong that Rusty and Melody made a run into the town of Cabaret in the afternoon to purchase...

Here we are the Haiti Mission Team from First Baptist Church, Live Oak, FL. We were up early to catch our flight out of Jacksonville and were joined at the airport by two other team members from the Jax area, Richard Dexter, a contractor, and a frequent visitor to the orphanage, and pastor Charlie Owens of the Harmony Community Church. We were eager to get to the orphanage and get busy and even more...
