Prayer Needs

Earlier this week I was asked to name my top 6 prayer requests. This is what I came up with. 1. An onsite missionary family 2. Protection for the childrenSafety both physically & spiritually as they walk through these current spiritual battles we are fighting. 3. Orphanage staff- that they would love the Lord & love the children; that they would take care of these children as well as they...

Armor of God

We recently had a week of special prayer at the mission. We were/are fighting some pretty intense spiritual battles and needed to gather as a group of believers and fall on our face before God. It was heavy, hard, intense work. It was also beautiful, awesome, humbling and effective. The congregation gathered every evening for several hours of prayer- singing, kneeling, intercession, laying...

Thanks Shindler Drive Team

We can’t thank this team enough for sponsoring our graduation. It was a long ceremony in really hot weather… but everyone helped without complaining. Everybody was holding a little one at some point through the morning. And I think after looking through the photos that Wanna managed to sit & be held by every single one! Everyone puts on their best Sunday...

Cabaret has an open street market filled with ladies selling all kinds of household wares; used clothing; staple food items; produce; meat & seafood. The market in Cabaret is held on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Cabaret is a mass of craziness on market day. The main street is so jammed with motos, tap-taps, buses, trucks, donkeys, horses...

Visiting in the Village

When the team was here last month, Donnie and I went visiting in the village. It’s quite an adventure to be out and about in the village. The sights, sounds, and smells are truly Haiti. I love seeing friends from church and the excitement on the faces of the school children as they spot the “blanc” walking by. They run after us grabbing my arm, grinning & singing “Mama Sherry,...
