With so many little hands to leave grimy fingerprints (and more
), there is no shortage of painting projects around the house & mission. This group took on the much needed (and much avoided) task of painting bathrooms. Yaay!
First, a whole lot of scrubbing and prep work…..

next, about a hundred coats of the thin, watery, whitewash-like liquid that Haiti calls (wink, wink) paint…

re-inforcements were called in to paint those hard-to -reach places where spiders live….

and then, when the whitewash just wasn’t doing the job, the creative committee stepped in!

Pink splashes really brighten things up & make everything look more girly, too.

No job is finished til the clean-up is over….
Look at Emily pumping that water. You go girl!

Uhmmm, Kelly? Isn’t the paint supposed to go on the walls… not on your face?
Thanks, guys! The bathrooms look terrific- clean & cheery. Not a job everybody jumps at, but you saw a need and jumped on it. Mesi.
