Oceanway Team in Haiti

Just received this message from Bonnie Snider in Haiti:

“Oceanway Baptist arrived yesterday! Lorelei is teaching English for summer secondary school that started today! The men are building concrete walls for four new latrines at the school. Awesome group!”

   I was AMAZED at how well all of the children spoke English (& French & Creole!) It was an honor to spend time with them – our time there just reinforces the fact that children in Haiti desperately need access to a quality education. We (Americans) can come from the outside & support change & share the gospel, but change needs to happen from within Haiti – I have no doubt that these children can be that change! God willing, I cannot WAIT to return to Haiti! Love to all…Lorelei
