What a wonderful time to be in Haiti! Our church here is planning a big celebration this Sunday as we hold our first worship service in the church pavilion. Church members have had workdays to clean, clear, and level the grounds. Men are installing new steel gates for the doors and the women are planning a “dinner on the grounds.” Every day there are choir groups practicing or study groups meeting. Pastor Gercé has invited several other pastors and magistrates to attend. He tells us to expect 200 people. It’s very exciting to see such a faithful, active group of believers spreading the love of Jesus in this community. We are blessed to have a hard-working team of three men with us this week. Pastor Charlie, Dwayne, and Rick are busy with piping, painting, and preaching! We are praying for more just like them . . . maybe you? It’s FCAT week at our school. The children are studying and taking their 3rd period exams this week. After school, Sarah leads the boys in soccer and volleyball, while the five older girls have been taking sewing class with me. We’ve had fun making skirts together. We have added a new member to our family. Jerry Johmas is a six year old boy brought to us by his elderly aunt, who is very sick. Both of his parents are dead and he has no other family to care for him. He is happy to be here and never stops talking. Rusty says he’s going to be a preacher when he grows up! Ha-Ha! Please pray for more sponsors so that children like Jerry can have a home and hear the name of Jesus every day. Thank you so much for supporting God’s work here. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. We have many opportunities to serve:

Electrical
Welding Steel Trusses
