Graduation
Graduation and Promotion for the Cabaret Baptist School is held in June at a Sunday morning worship service. Everyone gets a moment (or many moments for some!) in the spotlight.
The June school graduation and promotion ceremony was a huge event for us. I want to share some photos of this big day over several posts… it is just too big to post all at once!
Everyone puts on their best Sunday dress clothes for this special event.
Pastor Nathan even wears his white preaching suit!
It is a very emotional day for me and I’m looking a little wilted… besides the fact that it’s over 100 degrees!
There is singing….
…skits & acting…
… lots of dancing…
… and of course, musicians big & small !
Everybody comes to this exciting, joy-filled day to see these precious children have their day.
Our team sponsors this wonderful event and makes sure the day is special. They provide programs, certificates, gifts for teachers, caps & gowns for graduates and much more. One especially cherished memory from the day is the presentation of Bibles by the team to the graduating 5th graders.
