Standing atop the roof of the orphanage in Bercy, I get a 360-degree view of this growing community. My assignment for this morning is to patch holes in the metal roof of the building. It is a beautiful island day. The sun is warm but a gentle tropical breeze keeps me refreshed as I put generous portions of tar on the nails that are the source of the leaks.
Stopping for a break, I can’t help...

Today was one of those “hurry up and wait” days. We were delayed in getting our supplies for our projects, so some would have considered today a wasted day. But as we shared at the end of the day, we realized that the circumstances of the day allowed us to do the most important thing we do in Haiti–love on the kids. We all had special moments today where we exchanged love and smiles...

November team being transported out to our site.
The November team arrived today. Most were veteran Haiti mission trippers, so we were all anxious to get to the orphange to see the children. They were so precious as they came to greet us.
November team meets togther once they arrive.
We did some planning, unpacked, played with the children, and shared with each other how God had already given us some...
