Crazy Day

Very Crazy day today. Rusty left to take the girls to school and soon after Sony came tearing upstairs shouting, “I need alcohol!” Ummm… excuse me?  “Wilfrid can’t speak and I need alcohol!” “What’s wrong with Wilfrid?” now I’m digging through my medicine cabinet. The heart of a child …

… written by Lexi     (and Shelly) My daughter Lexi, upon returning to school in September, was asked to write a journal entry on something special she did over the summer. Mornings in Haiti (by Shelly)

Mornings in Haiti are my most favorite times. People who know me will have a hard time believing that as I am certainly NOT a morning person! But in Haiti, life is so much different. (Okay, that is a complete understatement!). When you know you are going to wake up to a sight like this, I can’t imagine anyone staying in bed past 5:45 am! It is a sight that is almost unbelievable to the eyes...
