Is this hope?
No… “my hope is built on nothing less… than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.”
Some others signs of hope I saw in the last week -
… the sun peeking in and pushing storm clouds away
… the sounds of helicopters overhead
… the US Coast Guard
… the US Navy
… the US Marines
… a church service on a hill… shelter- even...

Please Pray !!
By the way…
for those of you who asked there are only around 82 of the 100 or so children living at the orphanage in the group photo.
“Why?”, you ask… seriously, do you have to ask??!!
Everyone is still doing well, hardly any illness and things are running remarkably smooth.
Thank you all so much for the prayer covering. We love you.

He returned with 3 truckloads of children and several adults to help out.
We are now home (at least temporarily) to 4 new adults and 52 new children !!

Sarah took these Photos last week in the aftermath from Hurricane Ike. This is the Cabaret flood, near where we live.
Emory & Mary Wilson are fellow missionaries here in Haiti, but come from Brunswick, GA. They have been serving in Gonaives and doing some work with an orphanage there. Gonaives is Haiti’s New Orleans in that it often suffers through severe flooding. In 2004, Hurricane...

Hey, we finally have internet! It hasn’t worked in more than a week, but today we finally got the technicians out to install a new satellite dish. Yippee- I was really feeling cut off. It’s been a crazy time in Haiti. 4 storms in 3 weeks have devastated the country. Hundreds of people are dead, thousands homeless with all possessions washed away and no idea where the next meal is coming...
