I thought you might like to know what a typical Sunday morning in Haiti looks like. In some ways it’s very similar to Sunday in the US- but there are a few twists… This is a Haitian alarm clock or maybe you wake to the lovely song of a donkey braying… You think Sunday morning at your house is hectic- try getting 28 kids up & ready for church! Then its off to church for everyone-...

….But most important after all our physical needs were met and our tummies filled up… Jesus filled our hearts with his wonderful words…. and 9 children asked Him to come into their hearts and live… forever!

Every day we had yummy snacks, cookies, fruit, or peanut butter and of course you can’t have VBS without kool-aid! It takes a whole lot of peanut butter to feed 307 little tummies! We even got a vitamin each day to help us grow up strong & healthy.

Every day there was singing….. and cool crafts… and Bible Stories… We even danced!!

All week at VBS we had Fun! Fun! Fun! In the name of Jesus!We played fun games… We played more games and had races… And then we played some more!

VBS was amazing! We planned for 200 and prayed the Lord would bring them to us. Then we opened the gate and they started to come in… …and more came… and more. 187 the 1st day!And we prayed again… and He answered! and more children came…. and more….. 262 on the 2nd day! And then we prayed some more…Lord help us! But also, Thank you Lord & Show us how because...
